“May we not ever turn an ignoring eye, to the sufferings of those we pass by. But open our hearts and help them cope, for in caring for them, they may see hope.”

“Your donation helps us help others in need.”

  • The 2025 “point-in-time” count identified 2790 homeless adult individuals in Orange, Seminole, Volusia, and Osceola counties, a 0.18% increase from 2024.

  • Student Homelessness: Volusia County Schools identified 3,000 students experiencing homelessness during the 2023-2024 school year.

  • A $15 donation in Florida generally helps one or more individuals by supporting immediate needs like meals, hygiene items, or contributing to emergency shelter funds. While it rarely covers long-term housing on its own, it provides, for example, several meals through local organizations or essential items, supporting organizations like Neighborhood Center of West Volusia County and others.

Key impacts of a $15 donation include:

    • Essential Items: It can provide basic necessities such as socks, toiletries, or undergarments.

    • Food/Meals: It can provide multiple meals at a local shelter or food pantry.

    • Emergency Assistance: It contributes to funds used by agencies for immediate, short-term needs of families in crisis.

Note: For maximum impact, donating directly to established non-profits is recommended over giving cash on the street to ensure funds go toward food, shelter, or support services.

These Travel Cases also offer resources that foster care parents will love and appreciate.
